Pumpkin Patch Calendar Page with Kids and a Scarecrow
Coloring guide
A smiling boy in a baseball cap hugs a big ribbed pumpkin, and a girl with a ponytail kneels in the dirt to pick up a smaller one. Behind them stands a cheerful scarecrow in a flat-brimmed hat and plaid shirt, arms stretched wide. Next to him, a wooden wheelbarrow is already loaded with pumpkins. More pumpkins, curly vines and leafy plants cover the ground, a hay bale sits at the right, and a big grinning jack-o'-lantern fills the bottom left corner. The background has a wooden fence, bushy trees and puffy clouds. Large shapes and small details together suit a range of ages. Warm orange for the pumpkins, golden yellow for the straw and hay, and leafy greens for the vines work well. Download and print it free for a fun afternoon activity. Kids who like Calendar coloring pages usually enjoy Activity Sheets and Math Pixel Art too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big pumpkins: fill the large jack-o-lantern, the pumpkin the boy holds and the pumpkins in the wheelbarrow with orange, leaving the dark mouth for later.
- 2Color the grass, bushes, trees and hedges with grass green and lime green, and fill the fence rails and wheelbarrow wood with red and caramel.
- 3Add the sky blue and bright blue to the clouds, the boy's cap and the scarecrow's overalls, and use forest green for the boy's jacket.
- 4Fill the hay bales with golden yellow, the girl's shirt with pink, and the pants and boots with blue and chestnut brown.
- 5Color the faces and hands peach, the scarecrow's hat with amber gold, and leave the scarecrow's checkered shirt white.
- 6Optional: finish the jack-o-lantern mouth with charcoal, leaving the teeth white, and add a little darker orange shading on the pumpkins.
