Q Words Alphabet Page with Queen, Quilt and Quart

Big outlined capital Q, lowercase q, and a cursive q run down the left side of this page, with seven labeled pictures that all start with the letter. At the top are a milk bottle, a jar and a measuring cup labeled quart, next to a race car with speed lines labeled quick. In the middle, a smiling girl in a crown and long cape holds a star wand for queen. On the right, a girl sits beside a baby in a cradle with a finger to her lips for quiet, above a big question mark. At the bottom are a sliced apple labeled quarter and two children turned away from each other for quarrel. Try asking kids to trace each Q with a crayon, then read each label out loud. This printable page is also a nice way to talk about the difference between quiet and quick.
