Railroad Crossing Safety Page: Train, Car and Cyclist Waiting

Coloring guide
A cartoon train with big round eyes and a wide smile rolls toward a railroad crossing. The lowered striped gate arm keeps a small car and a child on a bicycle waiting safely. The child wears a helmet and sits on a bike at the edge of the road, and the car is shown from behind with a dashed line down the middle of the road. Crossbuck signs with round warning lights stand on either side of the tracks. Behind the train you'll see rolling hills, fluffy clouds, a leafy tree, a little house with a chimney and a fence. It's a friendly way to talk about stopping and waiting at crossings. Large open shapes plus a few small details make it a good fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids. A bright red train with yellow lights and green hills behind it would look great. Love this Trains coloring page? You might also enjoy our Monster Trucks and Race Car coloring pages.
