- 1Start with the horse body, neck, face and legs in medium brown, keeping the white bridle lines and the eye whites untouched.
- 2Color the mane, forelock and tail in pale yellow, then fill the cream muzzle area and leave the white highlights along the edges.
- 3Paint the saddle seat, reins, buckle, girth and stirrup straps in dark brown, and fill the hooves in charcoal gray.
- 4Add the royal blue saddle blanket with golden yellow edges and the sky blue corner on the saddle pad.
- 5Color the fence posts and rails in caramel brown, the inner ears in coral pink, and the small grass patch in grass green.
- 6Optional: Use a slightly darker brown along the belly and legs for shading, and leave the background white like the example.
