Santa at a Snowy Door With Wreath and Sack

Santa stands on a snowy doorstep holding a sheet of paper in one hand while a big round sack hangs over his other shoulder. He wears a floppy hat with a pom-pom, a fluffy beard, a wide belt with a round buckle, and little boots. Behind him is a closed door with a ribbon-bowed wreath hanging in the middle. A small bird perches on the step beside him, and a little tree in a pot, decorated with round ornaments, sits to the left. Dotted snow marks run across the ground. Try coloring the wreath in several greens and adding red berries to the ornaments, then ask kids what they think is written on Santa's paper. The large shapes on the hat, sack, and door are easy for younger children, while the bird and dotted ground suit smaller crayon tips. Print a few copies so everyone can pick a different color for the door.
