Seahorse Glancing Back Between Wavy Seaweed

Coloring guide
This seahorse floats upright in the center and looks back over its shoulder with a big round eye and a gentle smile. The tail ends in a neat spiral, and the belly is divided into bands you can fill in one at a time. You'll spot a fan-shaped crest on the head, a ruffled dorsal fin along the back and a small side fin near the middle. Three round bubbles of different sizes drift up beside the snout, and tall wavy strands of seaweed stand on both sides. The lines are bold and the shapes roomy, so it's easy going for preschoolers and early elementary kids, and it's free to print. Alternating orange and yellow bands on the belly would look cute, with soft greens for the seaweed and pale blue for the bubbles. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the seahorse head and the wide bands of its body with golden yellow, leaving the eye white unpainted.
- 2Fill the spiky back fins, the top fin and the round side fin with warm orange.
- 3Color the stripes along the body and the curled tail with warm orange, alternating with the golden yellow bands.
- 4Color the two bubbles on the right with sky blue.
- 5Keep the eye white and the seaweed white, then finish the outlines if needed.
- 6Optional: add a few lighter strokes of golden yellow over the orange parts to give a softer, sketchy glow.
