Seated Barbie Princess in a Star-Covered Ballgown
Coloring guide
Barbie sits gracefully on the ground with her long wavy hair swept into a high bun. One hand rests under her chin while her other arm leans on a big feathered hat beside her. Her gown has puffy short sleeves, a gathered bodice and a wide skirt that spreads out around her. The skirt is covered in stars, diamonds, tiny four-leaf clover motifs, and swirly scrollwork inside a web-like pattern. With no background scene, the princess and her dress stay front and center, and the many small details give kids lots to work on. Soft lavender or rose pink would suit the dress, with a bright contrasting color for the stars and clovers and teal for the hat's feather. The free PDF prints at home for a quiet creative break. This fits right in with our Barbie coloring pages — see also Dog Man and Puppy Dog Pals.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big ballgown skirt by filling the lower skirt, the right side of the skirt, and the hem areas in pale pink, leaving the small star sparkles plain.
- 2Color the main dress and cushion fabric in bright pink, including the left fabric bundle, the pillow edges, and the upper skirt sections.
- 3Use light pink for the bodice, sleeves, and side panels, and add soft pink to the mid-bodice and arm folds.
- 4Fill the hair and the fluffy swirl cushion in golden yellow, then color the face, neck, hands, and arms in peach skin, keeping the eye whites and the smile highlights white.
- 5Optional: add a few deeper raspberry pink strokes in the folds of the skirt and bodice to make the shadows stand out.
