Side Profile of a Wolf with Mountains

Coloring guide
A wolf's head and neck are drawn in side profile, facing left, with a long narrow muzzle, a small dark nose, and a slightly open mouth where one pointed tooth shows. The eye is almond shaped with a clear pupil. Two tall pointed ears stand upright, and short pen strokes mark the fur on the cheeks, neck, and chest. Behind the wolf, rounded hills and rocky ridges are outlined with a few horizontal lines for texture. This free page works well for practicing fur shading. Try gray, tan, and brown pencils in short strokes that follow the lines, then use soft blues or purples for the hills so the wolf stands out in front. Older kids can leave the eye bright and darken the fur around it.
