A large six pointed star with rounded corners sits in the middle of the page, drawn with a double outline so it looks like it has a thin border running around the inside edge. At the top, a ribbon bow is tied with a small knot in the center, two puffy loops on either side, and two long ribbon tails that curl down over the upper part of the star. The inside of the star is left completely open, which makes it a roomy space for your own designs. Try coloring the border band in one shade and the center in another, then add stripes, dots, or glitter to the middle. The bow and its twisting tails also give kids a good chance to practice coloring in small spaces. Print it as many times as you like for a family or classroom craft table.
