Skep Beehive With Three Buzzing Bees

Coloring guide
Three little bees with big smiles and round antennae fly around a classic dome-shaped skep beehive. The hive is built from stacked, rounded rows with short vertical lines, and a small arched doorway sits near the bottom. It rests on a wooden platform held up by two slanted legs. Along the bottom, tall grass tufts and three flowers frame everything: a large daisy-style flower on each side and a small one in the middle. The bees are striped and have simple rounded wings, so little hands can color them without much fuss. The wide hive rows are good practice for staying inside the lines. Golden yellow and straw-brown suit the hive, and soft pinks and purples on the petals help the bees stand out. It's a free PDF that prints easily at home or in class. Add this to your Bee coloring page collection, alongside Puppies and Cats.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the whole beehive dome and all its rounded bands with golden yellow, keeping the curved lines dark.
- 2Fill the arched entrance door of the hive with dark brown.
- 3Color the wooden stand board, its front edge, and both legs with warm brown.
- 4Paint the three bees' wings sky blue and their bodies golden yellow, leaving the black stripes and the eye whites white.
- 5Color the two leafy plants and the grass tips with leaf green, then add golden yellow centers to the flowers while leaving the petals white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker shading under the hive bands and along the stand to make the drawing look more rounded.
