Sleepy Duck Napping Among Flowers

This sleepy duck rests on the ground with its head tucked down against its chest and its eyes closed in a soft curve. Its beak points toward a large, rounded wing with scalloped feather tips, and a big fluffy tail fans up behind with a few leaf-shaped marks inside. Grass tufts sit around its body, and three simple flowers with round centers and five petals grow along the bottom, each with leaves on the stem. Bold outlines and roomy shapes keep this free printable easy for preschoolers and early elementary kids, with little frustration. Soft yellow for the body and orange for the beak look good, and pink, purple and light blue flowers help the duck stand out. It also makes a calm quiet-time or nap-time activity.
