Baby Elephant Sitting Down, Trunk Curled Toward the Left

A cute baby elephant sits on the ground with its legs stretched out in front and its trunk curled up toward the left side of the page. It has a round head, big round eyes with shiny highlights, small eyebrow marks, and a happy smile. A little tuft of hair curls up on top of its head, and the large ears are drawn with a second inner outline on each side. You can see small toenails on the front foot and rounded feet on the back legs. The lines are bold and the shapes are big and open, so this page works well for younger kids with chunky crayons. Try coloring the inner ear shapes a different shade from the outer ears, which is a nice way to talk about layers and details. This free page also makes a good starter for a lesson on baby animals.
