Baby Unicorn Standing Under a Rainbow Arch
Coloring guide
A young unicorn with big sparkly eyes and a sweet smile stands on a grassy hill and looks back over its shoulder at you. The long wavy mane flows down past the chest, and a full, swooping tail curls out behind. A spiral-striped horn rises between two pointed ears. Behind the unicorn, a big five-band rainbow arches across the page and ends in puffy clouds on each side. Small stars and a few more clouds dot the sky, and tufts of grass and two little daisy-style flowers sit along the bottom. Bushes peek over the hill on the left and right. The wide rainbow bands are easy for small hands. Swirls of purple and pink look pretty in the mane and tail, and golden yellow helps the striped horn stand out. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the unicorn body, head, neck and legs with cream, leaving the small highlight spots on the legs and the eye shine white.
- 2Fill the rainbow arch from the outside in: rose pink, orange, olive yellow, leaf green, then sky blue on the innermost band.
- 3Color the clouds and the small clouds at the sides with pale blue, and the hill and bushes at the bottom as well.
- 4Color the mane and tail with baby pink, periwinkle blue, lemon yellow, orchid and lilac, following the flowing strands.
- 5Color the horn, the stars and the mane top with lemon yellow, then give the hooves lilac and add a leaf green patch of grass on the hill.
- 6Optional: add a few darker strokes of the same colors along the mane and tail to make them look more like flowing hair.
