Smiling Baby Unicorn with Three Little Stars
Coloring guide
This baby unicorn is shown in a three-quarter view, grinning with big sparkly eyes, long lashes and an open happy mouth. A spiral horn sits between two pointed ears, and the wavy mane swoops over the forehead and down one side of the neck. The curly tail has flowing stripes, and every hoof has a neat band near the top. Three outlined stars drift around the little one, at the upper left, upper right and middle right. Nothing else is in the background, so there's lots of empty space for small hands. Thick, clean lines make this free printable a good match for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Pastel purple and pink would look nice on the mane and tail, with gold for the horn and bright yellow for each star. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the mane and tail: fill the outer strands and top tail in bubblegum pink, the middle strands in sky blue, and the center tail band in lemon yellow.
- 2Color the upper mane and the back of the mane in soft lavender, and the horn's top band in lemon yellow with the middle and lower bands in sky blue.
- 3Fill the inner parts of both ears in baby pink and color the horn tip bubblegum pink.
- 4Color the three stars lemon yellow and the little open mouth coral pink, leaving the face, body, chest and legs white.
- 5Add soft lavender to the hooves on all four legs, then leave the eye whites and shiny highlights untouched.
- 6Optional: Add a little light shading along the edges of the mane and tail with a slightly darker shade of the same color for extra depth.
