Sunflower Coloring Page With a Resting Bee

A happy bee with big round eyes and a smile sits right on the seedy center of a large sunflower. You can see its striped body, two leaf-shaped wings, curly antennae and small feet gripping the flower head. Wide pointed petals fan out in every direction, and a second, smaller sunflower peeks in from the upper right. Big veined leaves fill the corners, and thick stems curve along the bottom. The seed centers are drawn as rows of tiny bubbles, a good fine-motor challenge for kids who like detail. Warm yellow and orange suit the petals, rich brown the centers, and black with golden yellow the bee. It's a free printable for a quiet afternoon at home or a spring classroom activity.
