Standing Bunny Carrying an Easter Basket of Eggs

Coloring guide
On two big feet, a cheerful bunny stands upright and holds a woven basket against its tummy with both paws. Three decorated eggs sit inside: one with a zigzag band, one covered in dots and one with wavy stripes. The bunny's long ears have inner outlines, and it has big shiny eyes, a little nose, whiskers and a happy open-mouth smile. There's a fluffy tuft of fur on its head and a round tail peeking out behind. On either side grow two large flowers and one small flower, along with a few tufts of grass. Bold lines and good-sized spaces make this free printable a nice fit for preschoolers and early elementary kids. Soft lavender or sky blue for the bunny works well, and bright yellow, pink and green on the eggs will help the patterns stand out against the basket. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the basket and the bunny's body, feet, and both tails with caramel brown, leaving the cream beige tail and the inner back of the basket as shown.
- 2Color the two inner ears and the bunny's inner ear shapes with blush pink, then fill the back of the basket interior with cream beige.
- 3Paint the flower petals: the left flower in lavender purple, the right flower in sky blue, and the small flower in hot pink, keeping its highlight white.
- 4Color all the leaves and stems in leaf green, and add lime green to the grass tips for a fresh touch.
- 5Fill the eggs: the top egg with coral pink and baby pink stripes, the dotted eggs in sky blue, the wavy egg in lime green, and the right and bottom eggs in golden yellow, with the middle egg in orchid pink.
- 6Finish the flower centers in golden yellow, the nose in coral pink, and the mouth in hot pink. Optional: add a little darker shading on the basket weave for depth.
