Three-Egg Easter Basket with a Ribbon Bow

Three decorated Easter eggs sit in a big woven basket, with a large ribbon bow tied at the top of the handle. The front egg has a bumpy outline and is covered in circles of different sizes. Behind it on the left, an egg has wavy stripes, and the one on the right has bands plus a row of small dots. The basket rim looks like twisted rope, and the weave is made of short vertical bars in rows, so there's lots to fill in. Thick, clean outlines help little hands stay inside the lines, and the larger shapes are easy for younger kids. You could do the polka dots in bright pink and sky blue on a yellow front egg, then use warm browns for the basket and purple for the bow. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the bow: color both loops, the knot and the two tails coral pink, and leave the space inside the basket white.
- 2Color the big egg on the left with sky blue at the top, sunny yellow in the middle band, leaf green below that, and coral pink at the bottom.
- 3Fill the right egg with orange at the top and bottom, sunny yellow for the upper band, leaf green in the middle, sky blue below, then add coral pink dots.
- 4Color the center egg lavender purple and keep its round polka dots white.
- 5Color the basket rim and handle with pale gold twisted rope and caramel brown stripes, then fill the woven body with light tan and caramel brown strips. Optional: add a little darker shading along the edges of the basket for depth.
