A cheerful bunny is seated on a wooden chair at a small round table. One paw holds a paintbrush and the other steadies a big Easter egg. The egg rests on a little footed stand and already has wavy stripes and a row of simple flowers, so kids can see where the colors might go. Three paint pots sit on the table in front of the bunny. The long ears, big sparkly eyes, whiskers and open smile all add details to fill in. Small grass tufts and rounded bushes dot the background. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Fill the bunny's head, ears, arms, paws and legs with warm brown, then color the chest and muzzle cream.
- 2Color the chair and both table legs with wood orange, and paint the table top and its edge pale blue.
- 3Paint the egg top golden yellow, the wavy bands lavender purple and leaf green, the flower band and middle band coral pink, and the stand sky blue.
- 4Color the paint pots: tomato red on the left, bright blue on the right, and pale yellow on the front one, leaving the little shine spots in the eyes white.
- 5Add the nose and tongue in coral pink, and keep the white eye shine spots and the gap in the chair back white.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade of warm brown along the bunny's ears and a darker shade of sky blue on the egg stand for depth.
