Bus Driver and Three Kids on a Winding Country Lane
Coloring guide
A cheerful driver in a flat cap steers a rounded little bus down a twisting country lane, and three smiling children peek out of the side windows. Big round headlights, a grille, and two side mirrors give you plenty to color on the bus itself. Back on the grassy hill, a spotted cow stands near a fence, and a small house with a chimney sits at the top next to tall trees. Rolling hills, puffy clouds, bushes, and a few flowers in the bottom corner round out the scene. Clean lines and easy-to-read shapes suit preschoolers and early elementary kids. How about a sunny yellow bus and a bright red cap for the driver, with each passenger getting a different shirt color? This free printable is handy for quiet time or a classroom activity. Add this to your Bus coloring page collection, alongside Monster Trucks and Cars.

- 2Next, fill the trees and bushes with bright green and forest green, and color the top left cloud sky blue.
- 3Color the bus body and roof bright yellow, then add pale yellow to the round headlights.
- 4Fill the bus windows and windshield with sky blue, the driver's cap and seat with medium blue, and the faces with peach, leaving the eye whites white.
- 5Add the grille and mirrors in silver gray, the bumpers and wheel hubs in light gray, the tires in charcoal, and the fence posts in brown, keeping the cow's spots white.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade along the lower bus body and tree trunks for a bit more depth.
