Happy Cartoon Star with Four Sparkles

Coloring guide
One big, happy five-pointed star with rounded corners fills most of this page, and its friendly face is easy for little ones to love. It has two large round eyes with shiny highlights, two small curved eyebrows, and an open smile with a tongue showing. Four small four-pointed sparkles float nearby, two at the top and two in the bottom corners. The outlines are bold and smooth and the shapes are wide open, so preschoolers and kids still building crayon control can manage it. There's no background scene, which means children get to pick every color themselves. A sunny yellow body with light blue or purple sparkles will make the sparkles stand out. Download the free PDF and print it at home for a quiet creative moment. This fits right in with our Star coloring pages — see also Beach and Tree.
A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- golden yellow
- cherry red
- coral pink
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the whole star body with golden yellow, leaving the face area for now.
- 2Color the four sparkles around the star with the same golden yellow so they match.
- 3Fill the open mouth with cherry red, then add the tongue at the bottom in coral pink.
- 4Leave the eye whites and the small shine spots in each eye white, so they glow as bright highlights.
- 5Optional: Add a few light diagonal strokes of slightly darker yellow on the star for a pencil-textured look.
- 6Keep the background white and finish by outlining any spots you want to clean up with a dark marker.
