Smiling Cow Standing in Front of Red Barn

A friendly cow stands in a grassy yard with a big barn and a tall silo behind her. She has two small curved horns, one floppy ear, a long eyelashed eye, and a gentle smile. Her body has a large cloud-shaped patch across the back and three oval spots on her side, plus a swishing tail and a visible udder. The barn has a pointed gambrel roof, a square window up high, and a wide door below. A grid-style fence runs along the left side. Tufts of grass dot the ground, and four simple flowers sit in the bottom corners. Try coloring the cow's patches in a few different shades to show how real cows can look, then talk about what animals live on a farm. The large open shapes are easy for small hands, and this printable page works well for a farm unit.
