Winter Duck in a Knit Hat and Scarf

Standing on what looks like a frozen pond, this cheerful duckling wears a chunky knit hat with a big pom-pom and a cozy woven scarf with fringed ends. Its beak is open in a happy smile, its wing is tucked against its round body, and its webbed feet rest on the ice. Snowy evergreen trees sit on gentle hills behind it, with snowflakes and little round dots of snow drifting through the sky. The knit patterns on the hat and scarf create lots of small spaces, so this one suits steady hands. Red for the hat and scarf stands out nicely against soft yellow feathers and an icy light blue pond. It's a free printable for a winter afternoon at home or in the classroom. Kids who like Duck coloring pages usually enjoy Horses and Cow too.
