Rainy Fall Day Girl with Umbrella and Leaves
Coloring guide
Standing in a puddle, a smiling girl in a hooded raincoat holds a big umbrella with both hands as raindrops fall around her. Her coat has big buttons and two roomy front pockets, and her tall rubber boots sit right in the water. Maple and oak leaves drift through the air, a couple more float on the puddle, and small grass tufts poke up at the edges. The umbrella has a scalloped edge with little tips, so it's a roomy spot for patterns or stripes. A bright yellow raincoat with red boots looks cheerful, and oranges, reds and browns fill the leaves for a cozy autumn feel. Bold, simple lines suit young colorers, and this free printable is a good match for a rainy afternoon at home or a calm moment in class. Looking for more? - 1Color the raincoat, its hood, sleeves and pockets golden yellow, leaving the small round buttons for later.
- 2Fill the umbrella panels: bright red on the upper left, orange on the left, amber orange on the top, leaf green in the middle, forest green at the top right, azure blue on the right and bright blue on the lower right, with mustard gold on the edge.
- 3Color the face and hands peach skin, the hair chestnut brown, and the smile coral pink, keeping the eye whites white.
- 4Color the jeans royal blue, the boots bright red, and their soles brick red.
- 5Color the fallen and hanging leaves in amber orange and golden yellow, then fill the puddle with pale blue and add light sky blue ripples, keeping the space between the boots white.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade of each color along one side of the coat, boots and umbrella to give them some depth.
