Shaka Girl With Hawaiian Hibiscus and Flower Lei

Coloring guide
A cheerful girl with long wavy hair and a big open smile makes a shaka sign, thumb and pinky stretched out. A large hibiscus is tucked behind her ear, and a thick lei of plumeria-style blossoms hangs around her neck over a simple sleeveless dress. Two more big hibiscus blooms sit in the bottom corners, and broad leaves fill the sides of the page. Younger kids will find the wide petals and lei flowers easy to color, while her flowing hair and the leaf veins give older kids some detail. Pink or coral would suit the hibiscus, bright yellow the lei, and a few greens the leaves. It's a nice pick for a summer activity or an island-themed lesson. Print it free, no sign-up needed. Add this to your Hawaiian coloring page collection, alongside Matryoshka Dolls and Sugar Skulls (Día de Muertos).

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the face, arms, and shoulders with peach skin, leaving the eye whites and the bright smile area white.
- 2Color the long hair, including the top of the head and the flower in the hair, with dark brown.
- 3Fill the dress with golden yellow, from the straps down to the bottom of the page.
- 4Color all the big hibiscus flowers, both in the corners and the one in her hair, with coral red.
- 5Use bubblegum pink for the pink flowers in the lei and the tongue, and leave the white lei flowers white.
- 6Color the leaves with forest green and leaf green, then optionally add a little darker shading on the hair and dress for depth.
