Ice Cream Truck Serving Two Kids at the Window
Coloring guide
Parked on a grassy lawn, this ice cream truck has big round eyes, a cheerful smile and a giant cone with sprinkles and a cherry on its roof. A happy vendor in a cap and apron leans out of the serving window holding a cup of cones, while a girl with a ponytail and a boy in a T-shirt and shorts wait and look up at him. A striped awning shades the counter, and a small ice cream cone picture decorates the side of the truck. Puffy clouds, trees and little grass tufts fill the background. The large, clear shapes are easy for small hands. Pink and mint green would suit the giant scoop, with red for the cherry and two alternating colors on the awning stripes. Free to print. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by coloring the big light blue areas: the truck body, the roof, the windshields and the front panel, leaving the white eye shines and the white awning stripes untouched.
- 2Color the grass green bushes and the tree on the left and right, then fill the ice cream scoop with bubblegum pink and the cone waffle pattern with waffle tan.
- 3Fill the awning stripes alternating coral red, and keep the white stripes white. Color the cherry bright red and the cone cup soft pink.
- 4Color the two kids: orange ponytail and hair, golden yellow shirt, bubblegum pink skirt, and deep blue shorts for the boy, with peach skin for faces, arms and legs.
- 5Finish the wheels in charcoal gray with light gray hubs, the bumper in silver gray, and the headlights in marigold. Optional: add a little darker shading on the tires for depth.
