Smiling Monkey Hanging From a Tree Branch

A cheerful cartoon monkey hangs from a plain wooden branch with both arms stretched straight up and its hands wrapped around the wood. The monkey has big round eyes looking upward, a wide curved smile, small round ears, and two oval cheek spots above its mouth. It wears a simple short-sleeved t-shirt, and its round belly shows below the hem. Two long legs end in flat feet, and a long curly tail swoops out to the right with a rounded tip. The branch has a small broken twig sticking up near the top and a jagged cut end on the left. Lines are thick and clean, so this page is easy for little hands to color. Try giving the shirt a bright stripe pattern or color the belly a lighter shade than the fur. It could also open a chat about how real monkeys use their tails and arms to climb. Print it free for quiet time at home or in class.
