Smiling Monkey in Fez Hat and Uniform

A cheerful monkey crouches in a playful pose with its mouth wide open in a big grin. It wears a tall fez-style hat, a buttoned jacket with fringed shoulder epaulettes, a wide decorated belt with swirly circle patterns, and cuffed pants. One hand is held out with fingers spread, and a large round drum or cymbal-like shape sits behind it. The long curly tail loops up along the left side of the page, and both bare feet show their toes. The big shapes on the uniform and the open spaces on the tail make this easy for younger kids to color, while the belt patterns and fringe give older kids small details to work on. Try coloring the hat and jacket in bold matching colors like red and gold, then ask your child to pick a different color for the round shape behind the monkey. Print as many copies as you need for a classroom or rainy afternoon.
