Smiling Monkey on a Tree Branch Holding a Vine

Smiling Monkey on a Tree Branch Holding a Vine coloring sheet

Coloring guide

A cheerful monkey walks along a thick tree branch on all fours, with one arm raised to grab a hanging vine. Its tail curls up in a big spiral behind its back, and its wide eyes and open smile give it a playful look. The tall tree trunk stands on the right, with leafy clumps at the top and more foliage at the end of the branch on the left. A second looping vine droops across the upper part of the page. The large open areas are easy for younger kids to fill in, while the fur lines, leaves and curly tail suit slower, more careful coloring. Try brown and tan for the monkey, a different shade for its face and ears, and several greens for the leaves. This page also works well for talking about how monkeys use their tails and hands to climb.
