Bubble-Blowing Octopus with Three Striped Fish

Coloring guide
In the center of this page, a cheerful octopus with big sparkly eyes and an open smile blows a bubble, while its curly tentacles fan out below with rows of tiny suckers waiting for color. Round bubbles of several sizes float across the top and sides, and a few of the larger ones have little shine marks inside. Three small striped fish swim close by: one at the top left, one on the right and one at the bottom left. The octopus's head has several round spots. Lines are bold and clean, which suits younger children using crayons or chunky markers. Purple or coral looks good on the octopus, and orange and yellow stripes help the fish stand out. This free printable is handy for an ocean-themed day at home or at school. If you enjoyed this Octopus page, don't miss our Dolphin and Shark coloring pages.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big purple octopus head and body using the violet purple color, leaving the two big eye whites bright white.
- 2Color the long octopus arms and the tentacles in violet purple too, then add a few lavender spots on the head.
- 3Fill the bubbles with pale blue, leaving small white shine spots on each one, and color the bubble coming from the mouth the same way.
- 4Paint the three fish: lemon yellow bodies and fins, golden yellow stripes, and orange tails.
- 5Add a hot pink smile and the little yellow dots on the tentacle suckers.
- 6Optional: Add a bit of bright blue on the right fish fins for a playful touch, and leave the eye whites white.
