A cheerful octopus with big sparkly eyes and a wide open smile sits in the middle of the sea. It has spots on its round head and curly tentacles with little suction cups. One arm is raised on the right, and the others swirl down toward the sea floor. Three small striped fish with happy faces swim nearby, two at the top and one on the left, while bubbles of different sizes float across the page. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start by filling the big octopus head and all its tentacles with lavender purple, leaving the two big eye whites bright white.
- 2Color the three fish bodies: tangerine orange for the top left fish, sky blue for the top right fish, and lime green for the left fish.
- 3Add bright blue to the top right fish's tail and top fin, and burnt orange to the top left fish's fins.
- 4Paint the seaweed in emerald green, grass green and leaf green, then fill the rocks with warm gray and the sandy bottom with sandy beige.
- 5Use golden yellow for the fish stripes, coral pink for the octopus smile, and pale pink for the spots on the head and the suckers on the tentacles.
- 6Optional: Finish with light sky blue bubbles and medium gray gills on the fish, and leave the small outlined plants white.
