Grinning Hawaiian Pineapple with Big Shiny Eyes

Coloring guide
This happy pineapple has a wide open-mouth smile, round shiny eyes, and little curved eyebrows that make it look thrilled to see you. Its oval body is covered in a diamond crisscross pattern, and eight pointed leaves fan out from the top like a crown. You'll also spot small tufts of grass in the bottom left and right corners. Thick outlines and roomy spaces help little hands stay inside the lines, so preschoolers and early elementary kids should do well with it. Golden yellow and orange work for the diamonds, bright green for the leaves and grass, and pink for the tongue. Print it free for a fruit lesson, a summer afternoon, or a Hawaiian-style craft table at home or in class. Love this Hawaiian coloring page? A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the tall leaves on top with lime green, and the darker leaves at the sides and the top-left with forest green.
- 2Fill the whole pineapple body with golden yellow, leaving the diamond pattern lines clear.
- 3Color the tongue inside the smile with coral pink.
- 4Keep the eye whites and the bright shine spots in the eyes white, and the open mouth white as well.
- 5Optional: Add a little darker shading along the edges of the pineapple and leaves to make them pop.
- 6Finish with a black or dark marker to outline any spots you went over.
