A tall broomstick stands next to it, with the bristles tied up in a neat bundle of bands near the top. There's no background, so little hands can concentrate on the pumpkin, hat and broom. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big pumpkin: fill the face, left side and right side with orange, leaving the two eye whites untouched.
- 2Color the witch hat cone, the wide brim and its shadow edges purple, working from the top point down to the brim.
- 3Fill the hat band and the center of the buckle with black, then color the buckle frame yellow.
- 4Color the broom handle brown, the bristles and the top of the broom tie yellow, and the two bands of the tie red.
- 5Add the yellow nose, the dark red open mouth and the light pink tongue inside it.
- 6Optional: Finish with black pupils in the eyes and leave small white shine spots in them to make the eyes sparkle.
