Smiling Steam Train With Two Open Cars

A little steam locomotive with a friendly smiling face on the front of its round boiler pulls two open passenger cars behind it. The engine has a short smokestack, a flat-roofed cab held up by posts, a slatted cowcatcher at the front, and several round wheels along the side. Each car has a flat roof, vertical bars along the sides, and two wheels underneath. The lines are bold and the shapes are large, which makes it easy for younger kids to color without going outside the lines. Try giving each car its own color so children can count the train cars and talk about which one comes first, second, and third. This printable page also works well for crayons, markers, or colored pencils.
