Learn the Word SUN with Birds and Rolling Hills

Coloring guide
Triangle-shaped rays surround the smiling sun at the top of the page, which has big sparkly eyes and an open happy mouth. Right under it, the word SUN is written in chunky bubble letters that small hands can color easily. A little bird flies on each side of the word, and a few fluffy clouds drift in the corners. Along the bottom you'll find rolling hills with tufts of grass and four flowers with round centers and leafy stems. Preschoolers learning to recognize the word sun will like this free printable. Warm shades such as yellow, orange and red look good on the letters, and soft blues and greens work for the birds and hills. Looking for more? - 3Color the two fluffy clouds in light blue, the two bushes on the edges in forest green, and the rolling hill in lime green.
- 4Color the left bird in sky blue and the right bird in pale pink, adding rose pink to the right bird's wing for a fun contrast.
- 5Color the flowers with violet purple, tomato red, pale pink and bright orange petals, golden yellow centers, and deep green leaves and stems, then fill the grass tufts in deep green.
- 6Optional: add a slightly darker shade along the edges of the letters or the bottom of the hill to give the page a little depth.
