Cuddly Bear Cub Hugging a Honey Pot

Coloring guide
A cheerful bear cub sits on the ground, round paw-pad feet facing you, with a big striped honey pot squeezed against its tummy. Honey drips down the pot and over the rim. The open-mouthed smile, sparkly eyes and fluffy fur tufts make the cub look playful. Only a few grass tufts sit along the bottom, so the page stays simple. Bold outlines and roomy spaces suit little hands, which makes this a good free printable for preschool and early elementary. Golden yellow and amber would suit the honey and pot stripes, with warm brown fur and soft pink for the inner ears and paw pads. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the honey pot body and its opening with golden yellow, leaving the honey drip and rim for later.
- 2Fill the bear's arms, thighs, legs and feet with warm brown, keeping the pads free for now.
- 3Color the middle and upper bands of the honey pot with amber orange, then add the golden yellow drip running down the front.
- 4Paint the muzzle with pale cream and the tongue with rose pink, then fill the foot pads and ear insides with light pink.
- 5Keep the eye whites and the small shine spots on the eyes white, and leave the background white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker brown along the edges of the arms and legs to make the bear look more cuddly.
