Smiling Train Engineer Waving From Steam Locomotive Cab

Coloring guide
A cheerful engineer leans out of the side window of a small steam locomotive and salutes with one hand raised to his cap. He wears a neckerchief and has a big grin. The engine has a flared smokestack puffing curly smoke into big, wavy clouds, a round dome on top of the boiler, and a row of rivets along the side. Three spoked wheels are linked by a long rod and sit on a track that curves over a gentle hill. A few small birds fly in the sky, and two round trees stand at the edges of the scene. Try coloring the smoke and clouds in different shades of gray and blue, then ask kids to guess what job the engineer does and why the steam comes out of the stack. The large open shapes work well for crayons and markers.
