A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the drink inside the glass in tangerine orange, leaving the two eye whites and the small highlight along the glass edge white.
- 2Color the wooden table planks in tan orange, then fill the pineapple wedge in lemon yellow.
- 3Fill the glass rim and stem and the base plate in sky blue, and add a soft sky blue band where the glass top meets the drink.
- 4Color the hibiscus petals in coral red and the flower center in golden yellow, then fill the two leaves in leaf green.
- 5Use bubblegum pink for the umbrella panels and tongue, golden yellow for the umbrella tip, and cherry red for the mouth corner. Leave the straw's white stripes uncolored while coloring the red stripes in coral red.
- 6Optional: add a little darker orange shading under the glass and deeper red shading in the petals to make the drawing look more dimensional.
