Beach Day Watermelon Drink with Sandcastle

Coloring guide
Here a watermelon wedge with big sparkly eyes and an open smile sits in the sand like a fruity beach drink, with a tall striped straw and a tiny paper umbrella sticking out of the top. Raindrop-shaped seeds cover its face and a thick rind curves along the bottom. Behind it you'll find a sandcastle with towers, a small arched door, and a flag, close to some wavy ocean lines. The corners hold a sand bucket, a scallop shell, and a starfish with dotted details. Red and white stripes would look great on the straw, and rainbow panels on the umbrella, with pink flesh and green rind on the melon. Big shapes suit crayons, and the small sandy details are made for markers or colored pencils. Free to print. - strawberry red
- sky blue
- sandy yellow
- pale lime
- bright blue
- dark green
- lemon yellow
- tangerine orange
- light green
- chocolate brown

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the ocean strip behind the castle and umbrella: fill it with sky blue, carefully leaving the wavy white lines untouched.
- 2Color the big watermelon face in strawberry red, keeping the teardrop seeds and the two eye whites white.
- 3Add the watermelon rind: pale lime for the thick middle band, dark green along the bottom edge, and light green on the left side.
- 4Fill the sandcastle and the bucket: sandy yellow for the castle walls and the sand inside the bucket, bright blue for the bucket body, and chocolate brown for the castle door.
- 5Color the umbrella with lemon yellow and tangerine orange panels, and make the straw red with white stripes, leaving the umbrella pole and the stripe gaps white.
- 6Finish the small details: hot pink for the smile, tangerine orange for the starfish, lavender purple for the seashell, and strawberry red for the castle flag. Optional: add a slightly darker edge of the same color for a bit of depth.
