Snarling Wolf Crouching Low With Bushy Tail
Coloring guide
A single wolf crouches low with its front legs stretched out ahead and its head dipped close to the ground. Its mouth is open in a snarl, showing teeth, and its eyes are narrowed. The ears are pointed, and a spiky ruff of fur runs along the neck and back. Jagged tufts of fur also show on the chest, legs, and haunches. A big bushy tail curves out behind the body and ends in a pointed tip. The page has clean outlines and lots of open space inside the body, so it works well for markers, crayons, or colored pencils. Try using short pencil strokes that follow the direction of the fur to give the coat a rough, layered texture. Grays, browns, and white make a realistic wolf, and the large tail is a good spot to practice blending two or three shades together. This free printable is a nice fit for animal units or quiet afternoon coloring.
