- 1Start with the snow forts and ground: leave the snow blocks white, then fill the boy's and girl's hats and scarves with sky blue and orange for a cozy look.
- 2Color the sky and tree trunks, then add forest green to the pine trees and sea green to the tree tops, leaving the snow on branches white.
- 3Fill the boy's jacket and sleeves with sky blue and royal blue, and the girl's coat with lavender purple and plum purple, keeping the snowballs white.
- 4Color faces and hands with peach, and add the boy's striped scarf in orange and cream.
- 5Add brown to the tree trunks and chocolate brown to the boots and snowman branches, then use golden yellow for the girl's hair accent.
- 6Optional: Add a little pale blue shading on the snow piles so the white blocks look more three-dimensional.
