Snowman Gets a Carrot Nose From a Furry Grinch Friend
Coloring guide
Leaning over a smiling snowman, a shaggy, big-eyed furry creature pushes a carrot nose into its face while the other hand rests gently on top of the snowman's head. The snowman has a striped, fringed scarf, twig arms, coal-dot eyes and a happy curved smile. Two snow-covered evergreens stand behind them against rolling snowy hills, and there's a little snow mound at the bottom of the page. Spiky tufts of fur, a wide grin and long furry legs give kids lots of texture to color. Bright blue or green fur, an orange carrot nose and a red and white striped scarf would all fit. This free printable winter scene is a cozy pick for quiet afternoons, classroom holiday activities, or kids who love building snowmen. Kids who like The Grinch coloring pages usually enjoy Halloween and Halloween Masks too.

- 2Color the Grinch's skin and body fur with lime green, including the face, arms, hand, and legs.
- 3Fill the scarf with bands of bright red, leaf green, moss green, olive, and rust red, then add the red fringe at the ends.
- 4Color the carrot nose orange and the two trees in forest green, leaving the snowy tiers white.
- 5Add ice blue to the snow shadows at the bottom and sides, and leave the snowman, snow hills, and Grinch eyes white.
- 6Optional: Add a little darker sage green on the Grinch's shoulder and a darker olive on the scarf for shading.
