A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the train boiler and blue wheel parts with deep blue, leaving the snow and background white.
- 2Fill the snowplow and the carriages with bright red, then use dark red for the smokestack top, scarf and dome.
- 3Color the face ring and front buffer with sunny yellow, and fill the engine face with light gray, leaving the eye whites white.
- 4Color the pine trees with forest green and pine green, leaving snowy tips and branch highlights white.
- 5Fill the track sleepers with brown, the snowman hat with deep blue, and the snowman face and body with white.
- 6Optional: add a little charcoal black to the smokestack and light blue to the carriage windows for extra depth.
