Soccer Player in Striped Jersey Holding Ball

A soccer player stands facing forward in a short-sleeved jersey with tall vertical stripes and a V-neck collar with a trim band. He has short, tousled hair and light stubble, and one arm hangs relaxed at his side. His other hand is held out with a soccer ball resting on the fingers. The ball is drawn with hexagon panels and uneven patches, which gives you plenty of room for pattern work. A swoosh logo sits on one side of the chest, and a small shield-shaped crest with its own little sections sits on the other. There is also a small rectangle near the hem. The wide stripes are easy to color for younger kids. Try alternating two bold colors for the stripes, then use a third shade for the crest and collar trim.
