Referee Showing a Card at a Soccer Match

Coloring guide
In the middle of the scene a referee stands tall, whistle in his mouth, holding a card up in his raised right hand. He's dressed in a striped shirt with a chest pocket, shorts, tall socks and cleats. A boy stands on each side in a V-neck jersey, shorts and cleats, hands on hips, looking up at him. The boy on the left looks a bit worried, while the one on the right has a small smile. A soccer ball sits on the grass by the referee's feet, with tufts of grass around. Further back you'll spot a goal with netting, a low fence line and rounded bushes. It's a nice page for chatting about fair play and following the rules. Make the card bright yellow and give each team a different jersey color so the players are easy to tell apart. Free to print. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Color the grass, bushes and field edges in grass green, leaving the small grass tufts on the ground in the same green.
- 2Fill the referee's shirt, pocket, whistle cord and the yellow card in lemon yellow, then add charcoal gray to the referee's collar and wristband.
- 3Color the referee's shorts, socks and shoes in charcoal gray, and the left boy's shirt and socks in royal blue.
- 4Color the right boy's shirt and socks in bright red, and the goal net in teal, keeping the goal frame white.
- 5Color the hair: caramel brown for the left boy, dark brown for the referee and golden yellow for the right boy, then fill skin areas with skin peach.
- 6Optional: Keep both boys' shorts and the white panels of the soccer ball white, and add charcoal gray patches to the ball for a classic look.
