Floating through space in a full astronaut suit, this smiling pig waves one hand and grins widely behind the round helmet visor. The suit has a chest control panel, hoses, bulky boots and padded knees, so there's a lot to color. A rocket with a round porthole and rivet details blasts off right beside the pig, trailing a flame. Stars fill the background, along with a ringed planet at top left, a crescent moon with craters at top right, small asteroids and a cratered moon surface curving along the bottom. Pink for the face and ears with silver and light blue for the suit will make the character pop. A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the pig's face, ears and snout in light pink, then add coral pink on the snout and rose pink on the chin and mouth.
- 2Color the rocket body in cream, then fill the rocket's fins and top band in red, leaving the round porthole ring for later.
- 3Fill the rocket's lower panels, the astronaut's knee pads and the belt buckle in bright blue, and paint the helmet visor and porthole in pale blue.
- 4Color the planet and the crescent moon in golden yellow and amber, then add bright yellow to the stars and the chest panel.
- 5Fill the rocket flames with orange and bright yellow, and color the moon surface, craters and asteroids in slate gray, light gray and lavender purple. Leave the suit, glove and helmet rim white for contrast.
- 6Optional: add a little darker shading on the rocket fins and the lower planet ring to make the colors pop.
