Horned Bakugan Dragon With a Swooping Spiked Tail
Coloring guide
Sharp horns, a mouth full of teeth and a long neck curving around the body give this dragon some personality, and it's a fun one to color. It stands on clawed feet with its chest turned toward us, and the spiked tail sweeps up behind it like a thorny vine. Armor-like plates and pointed spikes cover its back, shoulders, legs and belly. Nothing fills the background. Some bold black areas are already filled in, so it looks dramatic from the start. Deep red or fiery orange works well on the armor, while pale yellow on the claws, horns and belly ridges makes them stand out. Kids who love fantasy creatures and detailed scales will like this one. Print it free for a rainy day or class time. Kids who like Bakugan coloring pages usually enjoy Robot and Talking Tom too.

A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the large body coil on the left, the back plates, and the lower chest in sky blue and pale sky blue to set the main light tones.
- 2Color the wide body segments and the upper back ridges in deep blue and medium blue, alternating them so the segments stand out.
- 3Fill the chest, belly plates, and tail underside with light tan, and the body plates with pale gold, leaving the belly highlight white.
- 4Paint the horns, the tail tip spikes, and the chest spikes in golden yellow, and add the mustard yellow chest gem.
- 5Add the grayish olive and olive green touches on the shoulder spike and head spike, then color the open mouth in coral pink.
- 6Optional: Add a few darker strokes of deep blue along the edges of the body plates to make the segments pop.
