Coloring guide

In this sweet beach scene, a hermit crab pokes out of a big swirly spiral shell and heads across the sand. His two round eyes are set wide on stalks, his face is happy, and he holds two large pincers out in front. Striped legs trail behind the shell. Back behind him is a grassy mound with three little flowers on top, and curling ocean waves fill the upper corner. A rounded rock, small pebbles and dots of sand sit in the foreground. The wide bands on the shell and the segmented legs give lots of sections to fill, so it works for early crayon users and older kids who like a bit of detail. Orange and pink stripes would look warm on the shell, and bright blue waves will help the crab stand out. Print this free page whenever you want a quick coloring break.
