Spot the Difference Farm Scene Activity Sheets
Coloring guide
This page stacks two matching farm scenes, so kids can color and play spot the difference all at once. Each one has a spotted cow wearing a bell, a hen with chicks, a big red-style barn with a rooster weather vane, a tall silo, hay bales, a wooden bucket and a tractor. At the right is a pond with cattails, a lily pad and a little frog, and behind it all you'll see a smiling sun, hills and a leafy tree. Look closely and you'll find that the top picture has a cloud and three chicks, while the bottom one has just one chick and a different barn window. Brown patches on the cow and a bright green tractor look good here. It's a free printable PDF for kids and coloring fans of any age. A gentle color plan to get started — mix in your own anytime.
- cream white
- bright green
- sky blue
- light gray
- barn red
- caramel brown
- sea green
- blush pink
- chocolate brown
- golden yellow
- light blue
- silver gray
A suggested order, zone by zone — skip around as you like.
- 1Start with the big sky and background hills: color the hills and distant mountains with sky blue, and leave the clouds and sun area white or add a golden yellow sun.
- 2Fill the grass areas around the barn, tractor, and farm yard with bright green, and use olive green for the trees and leaf green for the basket.
- 3Paint the barn walls and roof with barn red, and the silo with light gray and silver gray, leaving the window frames and door lines uncolored.
- 4Color the cow with cream white on its body, head, and legs, then add chocolate brown spots and blush pink on the nose, ears, and udder, keeping the eye whites white.
- 5Color the hen with caramel brown, the chicks with lemon yellow, and the tractor with sky blue, then finish the pond with sky blue and the rocks with light gray.
- 6Optional: Add a little shading with a slightly darker shade on the cow spots and barn walls to make the scene look more three-dimensional.
