Standing Gray Wolf With Tongue Out in Profile
Coloring guide
A wolf stands in side view facing left, its head held low and its mouth open with the tongue hanging out. The pen-style linework shows thick, shaggy fur around the neck and shoulders, with dark patches along the back and a long bushy tail that points down and back, marked with dark streaks near the tip. All four legs are visible with clear paws, and the wolf stands on a simple patch of ground with a few short grass tufts and a shadow beneath its feet. The background is blank, so there is plenty of room to get creative. Try using several shades of gray, tan, and brown pencil in short strokes that follow the fur lines, saving the darkest color for the back and tail patches. This free printable also works well for a quick lesson on how wolves look and move.
