Standing Wolf with Fluffy Fur and Grass

Standing Wolf with Fluffy Fur and Grass coloring sheet

Coloring guide

A single wolf stands on all four legs, its body turned slightly to the side while its head looks toward the viewer. The ears are tall and pointed with fur lines inside them, and the mouth curves into a gentle, almost smiling line. Short, jagged strokes across the neck, chest, shoulders and back show the thick fur, and the tail hangs down behind the hind legs. A few tufts and thin blades of grass are sketched around the paws at the bottom, and the background is left blank. The open spaces make it easy for younger kids to color, while older kids can add shading along the fur lines. Try gray, tan and brown pencils layered together for a natural coat, then talk about how wolves use their ears and thick fur in the wild. This page is free to print.
